Ministry News Letter March 2005

Greetings!

Greetings in the precious name of Jesus, Lord of Lords and King of Kings!

I arrived safely in Hungary on Thursday March 10, @ 10:00AM. The trip went smooth  with no glitches.

I spoke Friday night at the living Hope Assembly in Dunakeszi. This was a Friday night Bible study of which I did a slide presentation on the book of Revelation.

Early Saturday morning I traveled to the Ukraine with Szabó József, his son István, and another man Csobán, all from the Living Hope Assembly. It took us two hours to get through customs at the Hungarian/Ukraine boarder. Upon arriving in Mukacseve, around 2PM, I spoke at Sabranie Evangelskih Kristian Rakosino, and on Saturday night I spoke at, the Church of  Mukacseve. Both of these churches are Assemblies. We stayed at the home of Jurij & Irénke Kiniv. They have three kids, Gyuri, Andris, and Dániel. Víra, a teenage cousin was at the house as well. I was able to do some object lessons which were a big hit as is always the case.

The people in the Ukraine are much poorer then those in Hungary.  As soon as we passed into Ukraine, you could notice a drastic difference. It was like going from a modern world into a place that was 40 years back in time.  The roads were in deplorable condition as were the towns and villages. The majority of the people are very poor. Mukacseve, the place in the Ukraine where we stayed was 350 KM from Budapest. It was about a 7 hour drive.

The church at  Mukacseve was started about 40 years ago by a brother from England by the name of Hind or Hine? I spoke five times on Sunday at both the Mukacseve & Rakosino churches. We were even invited to a wedding on Sunday where I was asked to share from the Word. I spoke on the book of Ruth. The service for the wedding was three hours long! All & All it was a great time of fellowship.

We were able to share the ministry of Jo Hir  providing and giving many tracts and books.

The saints in the Ukraine were very gracious and they send their greetings to their brothers & sisters in the states. It humbles me to no small degree how gracious and giving the saints of the Ukraine were to us.

At 8:00AM on Monday, we drove home, arriving in Budapest around 5PM.  It only took us an hour to get through the border on the return trip.

Today, Tuesday, I met with Bill Osborne from Calvary Chapel who is very interested in some of the tracts we have and in one that we will soon publish called the Atheist test by Living Waters Ministry. This is being type set now and then we will look for prices and quantities to publish.

Bill also seemed to be very excited about a new tract we have come out with called “May I Ask You a Question”, by EvanTell Ministries.

Tomorrow I have off.

Thursday I will speak at 14 ó Budapest Gyorskocsi utca, one of the prisons in Hungary. On Saturday I will speak at another prison,10 ó Budapest Nagy Ignác utca. Saturday afternoon I will share the word at after a soccer game. I will do illusions and object lessons and then share the gospel. It will be a demanding time but I pray it will glorify the Lord Jesus.

  • Please pray for the saints in Ukraine. There is much to pray for. Pray as the Lord leads. They like many other former Soviet Union countries are pushing fast to become part of the European Union. They are not too thrilled with the European Union and its demands but they feel the Bear of Russia will begin to roar again and then do not want to be under their rule Again.

  • Please pray for the financial needs of Jo Hir as we press forward in publishing many books and tracts. The need is great and the time is short. The Lord Jesus is coming back soon to claim His church.

  • Please pray for the many ministries Jo Hir touches through  the literature we translate and distribute.

  • Please pray for strength as I seem to get busier and busier. The need is great and there is must to do before the Lord returns.

  • Please pray as one of my suitcases took a beaten and will not make another plane trip. I plan to go to the Chinese flee market tomorrow to see if I can pickup a replacement.

The Discipline of Dismay

“As they followed they were afraid” (Mark 10:32).

At the beginning of our life with Jesus Christ, we were sure we knew all there was to know about following Him. It was a delight to forsake everything else and to throw ourselves before Him in a fearless statement of love. But now we are not quite so sure. Jesus is far ahead of us and is beginning to seem different and unfamiliar—“Jesus was going before them; and they were amazed” (10:32).

There is an aspect of Jesus that chills even a disciple’s heart to its depth and makes his entire spiritual life gasp for air. This unusual Person with His face set “like a flint” (Isaiah 50:7) is walking with great determination ahead of me, and He strikes terror right through me. He no longer seems to be my Counselor and Friend and has a point of view about which I know nothing. All I can do is stand and stare at Him in amazement. At first I was confident that I understood Him, but now I am not so sure. I begin to realize that there is a distance between Jesus and me and I can no longer be intimate with Him. I have no idea where He is going, and the goal has become strangely distant.

Jesus Christ had to understand fully every sin and sorrow that human beings could experience, and that is what makes Him seem unfamiliar. When we see this aspect of Him, we realize we really don’t know Him. We don’t recognize even one characteristic of His life, and we don’t know how to begin to follow Him. He is far ahead of us, a Leader who seems totally unfamiliar, and we have no friendship with Him.

The discipline of dismay is an essential lesson which a disciple must learn. The danger is that we tend to look back on our times of obedience and on our past sacrifices to God in an effort to keep our enthusiasm for Him strong (see Isaiah 50:10–11). But when the darkness of dismay comes, endure until it is over, because out of it will come the ability to follow Jesus truly, which brings inexpressibly wonderful joy.                                   (Oswald Chambers)

Who is it that we follow?

Who is it that we desire to glorify?

What is it that we hope to accomplish?

May we press forward to the high calling that we have been called to. May we not look back, but always ahead. May we do all that we can do, in the power of the Lord Jesus, as we look for that blessed hope and soon appearing of the Lord God Almighty, Christ Jesus.

Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not refrain. (Jer. 20:9)

May we be found serving Him when He comes to call us home!

Love in Christ,

paul

March 28, 2005

I was scheduled to do some ministry work at one of the local prisons. This was supposed to be a big deal and I was told that I would be ministering to some dignitaries!!!!! Well………I had lunch with two people and was able to share the gospel. One was a Christian the other was not. The non Christian was wide open to hearing the gospel message and I believe it sank deep within her. After this (1PM), I was picked up to go to the prison….suit and tie no less……..we got to the prison and were waiting for the translator to arrive. I was told after about 15 minutes that that the translator was not coming because he had a bad cold. We got back in the van to go to a local church that was having an Easter conference to see if we could find a translator…(Easter Monday is a national holiday here in Hungary)… The church was packed but no one to translate!! Jóska then said let’s get Veronika to translate and between her and Jóska they could do the translation part. I was against this as I didn’t believe Veronika could do the job. Jóska felt they could do it. Anyway, we arrived back at Dob u. in about 15 minutes. Veronika answered the door and I immediately told her we had a problem and that we need her to translate with Jóska. She said she was unable as she had company, but maybe her guest would come with us? We went up stairs to the office and there were about 10 people there who started to sing happy birthday to me…… I never knew!!!!!!! We had a good time. 58 years in this old world!!

March 30, 2005

I have visited and evangelized in so many prisons, in Hungary, that it is difficult to keep track of them all. Many [of the prisoners appear to be hungry for the Word of God. They seem to enjoy very much my object lessons and illusions! After I do the object lessons and Illusions, (All in which the gospel is shared), I then open the Word and give a message of what Christ endured for us as He paid the penalty for  our sin. I can tell it is usually a very powerful message when I see many of these prisoners trying to wipe away misty eyes, not wanting anyone else to see they are sensitive to what they are hearing. The Lord is indeed very gracious.

Today I went to Kozma utca prison in Budapest. One of the commanders of the prison, a Jewish woman, resisted having me come to the prison. I am told that she resists all Christian evangelism and outreach. Well, I guess the powers to be won out, (The Lord God Almighty), and I was allowed to go and share god’s Word. There were about 75 men and a few women staff in attendance at the meeting. One of the assistant commanders, at risk to himself, took it upon himself to videotape the session which was about 2 hours. I am told this video will be shown on the prison TV system throughout Hungary. I am happy to hear this, as many will hear the Word of God. We also were able to distribute many books and tracts to the prisoners. Many seemed eager to get the reading material. One book that is still very popular among the prisoners is Jonathan’s Journey. Please pray that the Word of God will sink deep within all who had ears to hear what the Lord desired to share.

April 2, 2005 Friday

I met with Steven Casciola and his mother today spending several hours discussing the Word and in a time of fellowship. Steven had requested I visit with him because he is under house arrest and is unable to leave his home. He stated that he has wanted to meet with me for many months, and heard about me thru Erzsébet Nyitrai who is with the prison ministry work here in Hungary. Steve, around 40 years old, is an American and is married with two children. His wife had returned to the United States because of sickness in the family.

Coming from a very wealthy family, and as best as I understand, Steve was selling securities for a company he was representing. The company was not honest and an international arrest warrant was issued for the officers in the company. Returning to Eastern Europe from the United States He was arrested at the airport in Bulgaria. He was put in prison for about three weeks before being exported to Hungary to face charges of fraud. As Steve explains, unlike the US, all that is needed for arrest is suspicion of a crime. He tells me he did not know of the crime and he is an innocent victim. He spent a little over a year in a Hungarian prison before he was allowed to go to his flat under house arrest. He is not allowed to leave the house for any reason without permission. Guards come 2 or 3 time a week to check up on him. He does not expect to have his case go to trail until about 5 years from now.

He described the Bulgarian prison as one like that in the movie, The Count of Monte Cristo”. He said he was given stale and moldy bread once a week. He was very grateful he only spent three weeks there before being sent to Hungary. He tells me the food in the Hungarian prisons is very poor and that the prisoners rely on food and clothing sent from their families. Many in the prisons do not have family to send stuff to them. He did not go into too much detail but did say life in the Hungarian prison was horrible.

While in the Bulgarian prison he received a Bible from his family and began to read it. He said he had nothing else. He read the Bible from cover to cover. We had much discussion about the Word but his mother, Carmel, kept interrupting with many questions. She is religious and wanted to know what the difference is between her religion and the Bible. We answered many questions and Carmel was left with some portions of the Bible to read. Carmel does not believe there is a hell and that everyone is going to heaven.

Because of the interruption I was unable to hear Steven’s testimony as to when he accepted Christ as his Savior.

Steve does not know how long he will be under house arrest. He thinks maybe several more months?

Steve very much desires to have fellowship with me again.

I do not believe this is a chance meeting. I believe the Lord has brought us together for a reason. Maybe it’s to give Steve some advice?

Please pray that I am able to meet with him, share the Word, and to be a witness to his mother & family.

April 3, 2005

I met a man over here, Tom Gerendas, who is a Hungarian Jew that went through WWII as a 13 year old boy here in Hungary. His story is quite remarkable. He showed me the house where he hid from the Germans. I will attach the pics in another email. He said the day he received Christ as his Savior was a day that there was heavy bombing and machine gun fire going on all around. The building he hid in was the former property of a very wealthy Jewish family that went to the camps. Most of these homes were given to German officers when they occupied Hungary. The home was turned into a nursing home run by a Hebrew Christian women who went out scavenging for food daily at risk to their own life. This woman had false papers and therefore was not shipped to the camps. The homes were often searched by German troops and the hated Hungarian Arrow Cross Brigade who were more hated then the Germans.  The Arrow Cross Brigade often took people out of these homes, brought them down to the Danube River, and then shot them. Many hundreds were killed in this manner. Tom told one story of when the Russian troops came through the area delivering Hungarians from the Germans, that some came through on horses one of which was killed right in front of their home. After the skirmish went by, several Hungarian women went to the horse with large knives and cut big chunks of meat from it. He said it was the first meet they had in a long time. He also told of how the Russians raped and plundered the land. There were 13 people hiding in the house he was in and the Russians took 3 girls between 13 &18. He said it was horrible times. This man was part of the Hungarian revolution, escaping from Hungary in 1956. He later married a German woman who was the daughter of an SS German Colonial. Tom is on the Jó Hír board of directors in the states.

I believe this war, WWII, was but a glimpse of what it will be like during the Great Tribulation. There is much to do and much to pray for........

April 4, 2005 Monday

I met with a Dr. George Kovács recently who has a church close by, here in Budapest. We had given him some of our tracts and other literature to help him out this past Christmas. He had a strong desire to have me speak and do illusions to a group of teachers he is associated with. I spent 2/3 hours this morning going through some of the lessons I do and then shared the gospel with them. It was a very good time and as a result I was asked to share, this Thursday, with a group of High School students of one of the teachers. I will also be speaking at their church on the 23rd of April. I believe these are Christian schools? I have another friend who is still working on getting me into the public schools here in Hungary. Please pray about this.

April 7, 2005

My schedule is very busy for the next four days. I will speak to some High School kids on Friday night, at a prison on Saturday, at a church on Sunday, At a prison on Sunday afternoon. On Monday I will share Gods Word at a public girl’s high school and later on in the evening I will be attending a meeting with some people that are associated with youth ministries here in Hungary. Busy, busy, busy…………………………………….

Have You Seen Jesus?

“After that, He appeared in another form to two of them …” (Mark 16:12).

Being saved and seeing Jesus are not the same thing. Many people who have never seen Jesus have received and share in God’s grace. But once you have seen Him, you can never be the same. Other things will not have the appeal they did before.

You should always recognize the difference between what you see Jesus to be and what He has done for you. If you see only what He has done for you, your God is not big enough. But if you have had a vision, seeing Jesus as He really is, experiences can come and go, yet you will endure “as seeing Him who is invisible” (Hebrews 11:27). The man who was blind from birth did not know who Jesus was until Christ appeared and revealed Himself to him (see John 9). Jesus appears to those for whom He has done something, but we cannot order or predict when He will come. He may appear suddenly, at any turn. Then you can exclaim, “Now I see Him!” (see John 9:25).

Jesus must appear to you and to your friend individually; no one can see Jesus with your eyes. And division takes place when one has seen Him and the other has not. You cannot bring your friend to the point of seeing; God must do it. Have you seen Jesus? If so, you will want others to see Him too. “And they went and told it to the rest, but they did not believe them either” (Mark 16:13). When you see Him, you must tell, even if they don’t believe.

O could I tell, you surely would believe it!

O could I only say what I have seen!

How should I tell or how can you receive it,

How, till He bringeth you where I have been

Greetings in the precious name of Jesus!

I had an opportunity to preach at Palánta, (Palánta means seedling), an independent church this past Saturday afternoon. The church was packed and the pastor was very thankful that I was able to make it. I did not have this meeting in my calendar and tried to turn down the opportunity as I have had a cold for the past 5 days. With a sore throat, I really did not want to preach. I ended up preaching and it was a very good time as many in attendance had come to hear me share the Word through gospel illusions and also through the Word of God. Many heard the Word! The people were very silent when the gospel was being presented and had many questions after the meeting! My throat was very sore that night but it was worth it!

Dr. György Kováts, who started this church, was so thankful for my ministry, that he desires to let all his contacts know of the Jó Hír ministry. He has a mailing list of over 1200 churches. We have put together a list of all our books and a short letter to explain who we are. In addition to this we are mailing them a copy of E. Elliot’s book, „Shadow of the Almighty”. We have many of these books and we have not had a request for this book in a very long time. Please pray that this will help to create an interest and knowledge of our books.

I  met today with Steven, (The American prisoner here in Hungary) who is on House arrest. It was a good meeting! I went there with Elisabeth and we were able to share the gospel to him, his wife, his mother, and his father, all who are very religious. They appeared to be listening very intently to every word that was spoken. God was gracious in letting me share His Word in such a powerful way. Steven very much wants to meet with me again. He desires to meet with me alone. Pray that this meeting takes place and that Steven makes a decision to accept Jézus as his Savior. I am not certain if he is a Christian as he could not present to me a clear testimony. I believe he wants very much to know Jézus and to share the Good News with others. He is very concerned about his parents, his wife, and his children knowing Jézus! There is much to pray for. Please pray!

We have  plans to go to a Gypsey villege, Nyírkata, this Április 30  to evangelize. Please pray about this! I will be going with Szabó József and some others from Living Hope Assembly.

We also have a trip planed for the following week to Komádi, another Gypsey villige.

We signed off on the final proof version of the tract, May I Ask You A Question. We should have 40,000 copies of this tract by the end of this month. We are still working on Ephesians and hope to have this at the printer soon. We have the translation of the Aitiest Test tract, along with the graphics which were given to us free of cost, and hope to have this published soon. Please pray!

The following are some of the prisons in which I have had opportunity to share the Word in over the past two weeks. Dunaújváros, Gyorskocsi,  Baracska, Kozma, Marjovszkyné, Nagy Ignácz, Vác, and Eger prison. These prisons vary from low to high security. There is one prisoner, Lojos, who is at Vác u. Prison, who is serving a life sentence for the murder of many people, (I do not know the specific details). This man became a Christian in prison and heads up an evangelistic Bible study with the prisoners. Many in the prison have come to know Jézus as a result of his ministry. Please pray as the Lord leads’

Time is flying by, it is nearly the end of Április, and in a few weeks I will be back in the states.  There is still so much to do.

Love in Christ,

Paul

Gypsy village, Nyírkata,  Április 30

Eph.6:10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

After prayer, we left for Nyírkata at 7:30AM, it was about a 4/5 hour ride, and there were 12 of us in two vehicles. We rode in a VW van and another truck that had supplies, books and other items for the people of the village. This is probably the poorest part of Hungary.

Three hours into the trip, the truck broke down, requiring repair. One of the pulley’s to the generator had to be replaced. We were able to obtain the part, make the repairs, and were on our way about two hours later. We were supposed to have lunch when we arrived at the village but decided to go right into ministry due to the late time and have lunch afterwards.

We desired to have the ministry in the local church but they refused because we were not of them. We ended up having the ministry in the back yard of one of the Gypsy families. It was 3:PM when we began, and there were about 40 children and 30 adults. It was a bright sunny day with a slight wind. We sang some hymns, made some introductions, and then I did gospel illusions and shared the gospel from the Word. Due to my cold, my voice began to fail me near the end of the message but by the grace of God I was able to finish with no difficulty. My translator had no difficulty raising her voice so that all were able to hear.

There were many people who watched from the street, some with rapt attention and others trying to disrupt the meeting with loud music. I raised my voice even more, so that they were able to hear the message as well.

After the formal part of the ministry, we distributed books and tracts to all in attendance including the people who had gathered in the street. Some who were in the street threw the tracks to the ground not wanting anything to do with the literature but there were many others who eagerly accepted the tracts and literature.

Inspite of all the difficulties, the Word of God went out to all who had ears to hear.

The Patience To Wait for the Vision

“Though it tarries, wait for it …” (Habakkuk 2:3).

Patience is not the same as indifference; patience conveys the idea of someone who is tremendously strong and able to withstand all assaults. Having the vision of God is the source of patience because it gives us God’s true and proper inspiration. Moses endured, not because of his devotion to his principles of what was right, nor because of his sense of duty to God, but because he had a vision of God. “… he endured as seeing Him who is invisible” (Hebrews 11:27). A person who has the vision of God is not devoted to a cause or to any particular issue—he is devoted to God Himself. You always know when the vision is of God because of the inspiration that comes with it. Things come to you with greatness and add vitality to your life because everything is energized by God. He may give you a time spiritually, with no word from Himself at all, just as His Son experienced during His time of temptation in the wilderness. When God does that, simply endure, and the power to endure will be there because you see God.

“Though it tarries, wait for it … .” The proof that we have the vision is that we are reaching out for more than we have already grasped. It is a bad thing to be satisfied spiritually. The psalmist said, “What shall I render to the Lord …? I will take up the cup of salvation …” (Psalm 116:12–13). We are apt to look for satisfaction within ourselves and say, “Now I’ve got it! Now I am completely sanctified. Now I can endure.” Instantly we are on the road to ruin. Our reach must exceed our grasp. Paul said, “Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on …” (Philippians 3:12). If we have only what we have experienced, we have nothing. But if we have the inspiration of the vision of God, we have more than we can experience. Beware of the danger of spiritual relaxation. (Oswald Chambers)

Thank you so much for your prayers and support to the Lord’s work here in Hungary.

Love in Christ,

Paul

From the Chronicles of Paul Meehan - Május 14, 2005

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:  Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:  According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Jó Hír went to Word of Life Camp in Tóalmás this past Saturday to set up a book table for the woman’s conference that was being held there. It was a beautiful sunny spring day and over 400 women showed up for the conference. We were able to sell many books which made it easier to take back to Budapest a much lighter load. Of the many books that were sold, one of our new books, The Evolution of a Creationist was a big attraction. Evolution still has a firm grip on the people of Hungary. A recent letter received from a friend and supporter of Jó Hír states, „Tons of false teachings poured into Hungary after its borders opened up, and confused and oppressed the people there. Another serious problem is the lingering existence of pseudo-communist sentiment in Hungary. 3 years ago the liberal socialist party, which is the continuation of the former communist party, received majority support from Hungarian voters.

In April I met with an 85 year old communist, who filled a high position in Hungary with a state-controlled foreign trading company in the 1970-ies and 1980-ies. He not only does not believe that Jesus is the Messiah, but he openly denies the existence of God, and embraces Marxist-Leninist teachings. He does not believe in creation, but buys into Darwinism. He served the communist regime, and contributed to the persecution of Christians and ordinary Hungarian citizens. His children and grandchildren have adapted to the new political and economic systems in Hungary and continue to support godlessness.” There is much to pray for………………………

Books we are in the process of publishing are: Ephesians, Matthew (2 Books), and Romans - J. Vernon McGee; He Leadeth Me – CW Slemming. We are also working with Word of Life Hungary in publishing a Christian Counselors book (yet to be named), that would be used in their school and for the needs of the many churches in Hungary. Another book we came out with this year and very popular, is Jewish Doctor’s Meet The Great Physician Please pray for the heavy workload we have upon us.

Tracts we are in the process of translating, and publishing are: May I ask You A Question – EvanTell (A draft of this tract has already been printed). We hope to have 40,000 of these tracts in the near future. There is a big interest in this tract by all who have seen them. Other tracts we are working on are: The Atheist Test – Living Waters Ministry, and The Lonely Cabin on the 40-Mile. Please pray!

Pentecost, a national holiday here in Hungary, will be celebrated this coming Monday! It simply amazes me that Pentecost is a major holiday in a country such as Hungary but it is not in the United States. And, just think………all stores will be closed! There will be a special book fare of which Jó Hír will participate in. Please pray as the Lord leads.

Psalm 33:12     “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD,

Greetings to the saints! Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,  Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:  To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

May I Ask You A Question tract – While doing some street evangelism, I handed a tract to a man who was passing out flyers at the Western City Center Mall in Budapest. It was my last tract. This large popular mall was packed with people. He took the tract, looked at it, and said something derogatory, (I could not understand what he said but the person with me was appalled). He threw the tract to the ground kicking it away. I just smiled, picked up the tract and about 5 minutes later handed the tract to a security guard at one of the stores in the mall. This guard was highly delighted to receive the track and she couldn’t thank me enough. I believe the security guard was the person the Lord wanted to have the tract.

We plan to have a huge outreach using the EvanTell tract. We hope to flood Budapest with about 10,000 copies of the tract. Please pray about this.

September 1, 2005

I had a meeting today with the representatives of Jews for Jesus from the Ukraine who are doing evangelism this month among the Jews in Hungary. They purchased 230 copies of the book Betrayed, and 70 copies of The Search. Please pray for this outreach among the Jewish people!

Tom Gerendas, (Tom is Jewish and accepted Christ at the age of 13 during WWII in Hungary), will be coming to Hungary, from the U.S., near the end of the week, September 9th, with a large part of his extended family. They will be coming from different countries. He desires to bring them to Dél-Budai Keresztyén Gyülekezet Assembly on Sunday where I will be sharing God’s Word. There will be about 16 of them. Please pray about this as many of them do not know Christ as their Savior.

On Saturday the 24th I will be doing some evangelism, at this same assembly, for the youth. They will be inviting many of the kids from around the neighborhood. Please pray that many kids will come and that they will hear the Word and that they will accept Christ as their Savior. The elders are excited about this as it is new to them and are relying on me to help with the details! Please pray!

September 12th thru 14th - I will be attending Word of Life camp for three days of training in evangelism. It will be good to hear other ideas on sharing God’s Word.

Please pray for the tracts and books we are in the process of publishing. Please pray for my upcoming trip, early November, to Poland where I will be working with WOL in their youth ministry.

I pray the Lord Jesus will bless you with good health and that He will draw you very close to Him.

(Szeretettel), Love in Christ,

paul

PS - Time is moving ahead at rapid speed as we await the soon return of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus!  The gospel of John tells us, “I must work the works of Him who sent me while it is still day; the night cometh when no man can work”.
